Percepto Base: Autonomous drone-in-a-box docking station
The Percepto Base is a ruggedized, field-proven drone dock for the Percepto Air drones, designed for remote operations and autonomous drone flight.
Drone docking stations, also known as drone ports, enable Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) to take off and land while also enabling the drone to be recharged. The core components of a docking station include a control panel to push flight routes and monitor flight progress.
Fast forward to 2022, DJI entered the world of drone docking stations with the DJI Dock, providing a much-needed boost to drone autonomy. This innovation has the potential to make docking stations a de facto accessory for drones, similar to how cameras became a standard payload just a few years ago.

On the other hand, drone landing stations with positioning systems can be divided into two main groups: with active and passive positioning. Active positioning systems include actuators and mechanisms to adjust the position and orientation of the drone to the right degree.
